As per data furnished by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, in January this year, Social Security associates connected to tourist happenings surged by 7.4 per cent, reaching 2,404,387 workers when compared to the equivalent period the year before.
Data showed that tourism workforces comprise 12 per cent of the total number of associates in all doings of the Spanish economy.
